don't see very often. Nice stereo with CD player and speakers. The CD player has
a jack for your MP3 and plays both CD's and data or MP3 discs. Nice brown interior.
All in all a really cool car.
Now the bad news. It needs quite a bit of mechanical work. The inspection sticker is out
and the repairs need to be made before it will pass inspection. Steering system and exhaust
need work. The clutch may need to be replaced. The AC does not work, and it would need
to be retrofitted. The registration is current.
So, yes, it needs a bit of work, but it is a really cool car if you like old Volvos.
The engine is great and has a lot of get up and go for an '81. The body is in
great shape. It is a very unusual car - I haven't seen any others like it around town.
It has a 4 speed manual transmission with an overdrive. Everything
is manual on the car - windows, door locks, even the sunroof (it has a crank).
So if you like old Volvos, or like to work on cars, this would be perfect.
